I’m McKenzie Chapman. My friends describe me as ambitious, and whether I like it or not (since that means I’m usually over-busy), I think they might be right. Aside from my full-time job, I’m juggling a lot of other creative projects.
I co-produce and co-host Chick Flicks Podcast with my friend, Bridget Hovell. Chick Flicks is a film review podcast full of feelings and powered by the magic of ~*~*~friendship~*~*~. We have a lot of fun.
I also make art! This site has a lot of my embroidery art, but I also draw. I love hand imagery, learning new crafts like sewing, and am currently experimenting with hand-tufting. I’m also designing an RPG game with a friend, and the illustrations you can can see on my website are for the game.
In my limited free time, I try to read as much as possible, find myself getting obsessed with Korean dramas, bake new recipes to unwind, and do some freelance social media management, too.
I grew up in New Jersey, went to Drew University where I studied Film and Chinese, lived and worked in Connecticut, and have now settled in Philly! I wear many hats and am always looking for new opportunities.
